On the morning of November 30th, the Palmyra-Macedon Intermediate School community devoted its weekly morning meeting in support of Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths program. Thanks to schools like this one, Pantene has donated thousands of free, real-hair wigs to women living with cancer. All wigs are distributed through select American Cancer Society wig banks across the country. Donations are critical because Pantene can only create as many gorgeous real-hair wigs as the hair they have collected allows. Pal-Mac Intermediate School’s participation this year was dedicated to “Lizzie’s Fight” - their way of supporting a very special third grader at Pal-Mac Intermediate School. 28 students, faculty, staff & parents volunteered to Cut It For Cancer event this year. The Michael Spitale Salon, Spa & Gallery, as well as Razors Edge, Salon EFX, Roots, Beaumonde Spa, Hair Dynamics, Hopkins Hair, Terra’s Transformations, Fabulous Fedor Salon, Infinite Audio, Mark’s Pizza & Flaherty’s Three Flags Inn helped to make the day possible.

The Michael Spitale Salon and the Rochester Laser Spa are proud to support Clips For A Cause on June 5, 2011 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Pluta Cancer Center, the Mt Hope Family Center, and the Bivona Child Advocacy Center. The event will feature free makeup consultations, free scalp treatments, and of course haircuts for charity! Also, a raffle will be held for Laser Spa packages, salon products, massages, gym memberships, jewelry, a romantic getaway, manicures, and more. Refreshments will be provided as well.
Call ahead, 256-3490 to schedule a haircut appointment with select stylists, but walk-ins are also welcome. If you stop in before June 5th, or can’t attend the event, you can get raffle tickets at the salon.
